The swimming pool is irresistibly transparent. After a couple of lengths and breakfast, off to work for a very efficient morning. I plough through a substantial amount of work before our lunch with Natalia. The afternoon is a bit slower, but I still manage to get a lot done.
After work, I meet the guy who called me yesterday to see my car. He seems interested, but since he's only a middle man, he wants his client to see the car the next day. I hope it'll work out as he's willing to pay the price I ask!
Bruno and I work up the courage go through all our clothes and decide what to bring back to Belgium and what to give away in Zim. We end up with not even filling up the suit-cases we plan on bringing back... . Goodie.
While Bruno attends his capoeira practice, I clean out the kitchen and some cupboards. The whole cleaning up part is actually not so bad when spread out over some days. On the other hand, the house looks more and more empty - a reminder that the end is drawing closer. I still don't really realise it, even though we've already said good-bye to a bunch of close friends, people we probably won't see before long. In less than a week I'm back on the other side of the globe and probably not going back to Southern Africa any time soon. I wonder how I'll adapt... .
