Gosh... one of those days that litteraly never end... . Woke up as usual, swam as usual, went to work as usual. Got a call from the car sales guy to meet up with him somewhere to go and show my car to his client. We waited for an hour and on our way out of the place we finally bump into her. After some discussions, we come to an agreement - she would wire the money over to my account in Europe in exchange for a couple of hundred dollars less. But since I want to keep the car another 4 days, till we leave, she wants to wait to do the transaction till Friday. I say ok, but regret it a bit later because it would mean to leave her with the car without having the money actually on my account. Anyway, I leave with the sales guy and he tells me about this other client who wants a car like now now. We meet her at 4pm in town, go for a spin and she falls in love with the car. And wants it on the spot. I decide to sell it to her as she's willing to pay the price I wanted for it. After an hour of paperwork, she drives off. And I'm back to being a pedestrian.
After 5, Shaun picks me up for training and kindly drops me back home again. Plenty of people are excitedly cooking on Orane's instructions - he and Dimitri and Rahim decided to host a little taco party for us at our place. The little party ended at about 6am. I decided against going to sleep, to avoid being incapable to wake up in time to go to work. Bruno does the opposite (and I wonder if he's already awake as I type :-) )
I clean up the mess, swim to stay awake and wait for Constance before I walk to the main street and grab a combi towards work. And I end up walking 30min for the last bit where the combi's don't pass.
Staying awake is definitively more difficult when you're almost 33 than 10 years ago!
Right now time to hit the squash court with Shaun - I wonder how that will go - then after that back to work, go home, and sleep... (never have I so longed for my bed).
